Ross Tully
UK-based competitive Warhammer 40,000 player, creator of Secondary Objective, and holder of a World Championships Golden Ticket for 2026.
My story
I'm Ross — a UK-based competitive Warhammer 40,000 player and the person behind Secondary Objective. I won two UK Super Majors, which earned me a Golden Ticket to the World Championships of Warhammer in 2026. Along the way I've peaked at a top-3 world ranking overall and reached world number 1 for T'au.
Those results are the fun part to talk about, but they're not really why I coach. I coach because I love this game, and I love helping other people get more out of it — whether that's winning your first game, surviving your first tournament, or pushing for a top table of your own. I work with every faction and every level of ability, from complete beginner to hardened competitor.
Sportsmanship and fair play come first
Winning matters — but never at the expense of the person across the table. Sportsmanship and fair play are the centre of everything I believe in, in Warhammer 40,000 and in any game. My goal as a coach isn't just to make you a stronger player; it's to help you reach the top level of your game while being the kind of opponent everyone wants to face. Play hard, play fair, and leave every game having made it a good one for both of you. That's the game I fell in love with, and it's the game I want to help you play.
If that sounds like the kind of coaching you're after, I'd love to hear from you. We can start with a free 20-minute discovery call, no obligation, and figure out exactly what would help your game the most.
